Sauk Valley Animal Hospital was opened in Sterling, Illinois in 1973 as a small animal outpatient facility as an affiliate of Dixon Veterinary Hospital.  We moved to our present location in 1997, and expanded to a full service facility serving companion animals.

Both Sauk Valley Animal Hospital and Dixon Veterinary Hospital offer a full range of services for companion animals, while DVH also offers services for food animals.  Our highly trained doctors and motivated staff are here to help you and your pet.  Our own pets are our family members, and we realize that yours are also, so we strive to treat your pets as our own.  In order to do so, we utilize state-of-the-art equipment, our doctors participate in continuing education, and we also work with specialists so that we may provide the best care for your pet.
